Mental Health
Supporting the Mental Health of our Seniors
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), provides a relaxed, supportive environment where patients participate in therapeutic groups which focus on providing peer support and teaching life enrichment skills to promote achievement in their individualized treatment goals.
Individuals who are transitioning from an inpatient setting, have not responded well to standard outpatient therapy, or need more intense treatment in a structured environment, are perfect candidates for our IOP Program. Licensed mental health professionals provide individual, group, and family therapy based on an individualized treatment plan under the supervision of a board certified psychiatrist.
We advocate for acceptance within the general public and our patient’s families. We raise awareness of mental illness among senior citizens by providing education and support to those who interact with them on a daily basis.
We treat individuals with the following conditions:

How do I start the program?
Please call (318) 878-6376 and ask for the Program Manager to schedule a free confidential assessment to determine treatment needs. Upon completion of the assessment, a recommendation will be made for treatment either in one of our programs or a referral may be made. If the individual is admitted to the Intensive Outpatient Program, a tour of the facility is conducted, followed by an introduction to all staff. The patient will receive a copy of the program schedule and is oriented to the various groups.
