NON COVID-19 Positive Patients: Visitation of patients will be limited to one visitors and one support person (18 years or older) per day. All those visiting or supporting patients are asked to stay in the patient’s room and are not allowed to leave and re-enter the facility on the same day. The support person may stay overnight, but must be in the patient’s room prior to 6pm daily. Mask must be worn at all times including inside the patient’s room.
Visiting hours will continue to be from 10am until 6pm.
Visitors will be screened for symptoms daily and will receive a wristband with the current date that must be worn for the duration of their visit.
We strongly recommend people who have chronic conditions such as diabetes, lung or heart disease or are older than 70 do not visit patients in our facility for their own protection.
At this time, chaplains/pastors/preachers etc. are considered a visitor.
COVID Positive Patients: Visitation of COVID positive patients will be limited to one support person for those patients who are unable to care for themselves. The support person must be a person who has already been exposed to the patient. The support person must be 18 years of age or older. The support person must use entrance N to enter and exit the building. Once the support person leaves for the day they will not be allowed to return. Mask must be worn at all times, including inside the patient’s room.
EXCPETIONS:
Patients who are receiving end of life care may have one support person and 2 visitors at time. The number of visitors is not limited. The visitors must wait in the lobby (if social distancing permits) or outside until it is their turn. They must be screened, wear a mask at all times and use proper hand hygiene.
