Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is a medically supervised program that helps patients recover quickly and return to full, anxiety-free living after suffering from a cardiac event or lung disease. The comprehensive exercise programs helps improve the efficiency and function of the entire cardiovascular system, which is a key element in improving overall health and reducing risk factors to prevent future heart or lung problems.
Cardiac Rehab Eligible Patients
Most insurance providers, including Medicare, will cover Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation for patients who have had:
• Angioplasty (balloon surgery)
• Coronary artery bypass graft
• Coronary stent
• Heart attack within the last 12 months
• Heart/lung transplant
• Stable angina
• Congestive heart failure
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Program Enrollment
A physician referral is required for enrollment into the Delhi Hospital Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program. We will glad contact your physician and insurance carrier to see if you are eligible and to determine your coverage.

What to Expect
During the program, participants are placed on a heart monitor while exercising and under the supervision of
an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certified Team.
Our Heart Specialists include a Physician, Registered Nurse, and Exercise Physiologist.
