Dr. Cynthia Wagnon is the Chief of Staff of Delhi Rural Health Clinic and uses her medical expertise in the Delhi Community through her affiliations with the Delhi Guest Home, Delta American Healthcare, and Richland Association for Retarded Citizens.

A native of Shreveport, Dr. Wagnon discovered her passion and interest in medicine at an early age. In order to pursue her interests, she attended medical school at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, where she discovered a specific interest in internal medicine. She was accepted into the LSUMC-S residency program, where she completed her inspirations of becoming an Internal Medicine Doctor.

As a Internal Medicine Physician, Dr. Wagon is able to apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illnesses.

Dr. Wagnon has been a healthcare provider at Delhi Rural Health Clinic for over twenty years. She is committed to Delhi Rural Health Clinic because she believes that building lasting relationships with patients and co-workers is the key to a healthier community and has never regretted her decision to join the medical staff here in Delhi.

When Dr. Wagnon isn’t with her patients, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. While painting, she is able to reflect on the things she is thankful for while also allowing her schedule to slow down briefly. In addition to cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, she also enjoys hosting gatherings at her house in order to bring her friends and family together.
